The Fredericksburg Regional Alliance at the University of Mary Washington is an economic development marketing partnership created to provide CEOs, presidents, corporate real estate executives, and site selection consultants with a single source for comprehensive demographic, economic, and commercial real estate information on the Fredericksburg, Virginia region - which includes the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. Some of the targeted industries of the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance include Manufacturing, Information Technology, Distribution & Logistics, Defense & Security, and Professional Business Services.

The University of Mary Washington Small Business Development Center (UMWSBDC) is a resource center that provides assistance to the small business community via management training, industrial and demographic research, and confidential one-on-one consulting with a focus on capital access and management planning. The Small Business Development Center offers Webinars & Workshops, Consulting for New Clients, and Appointments for Existing Clients .
