The Business Pour: An EDA-Sponsored Networking Event Where Connections Flow

The Business Pour LogoThe Fredericksburg Economic Development Authority (EDA) is excited to introduce The Business Pour, a free after-hours networking series designed to bring local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community partners together in a relaxed and welcoming setting. This quarterly meetup offers space to build real relationships, share experiences, and spark new ideas that strengthen Fredericksburg’s business community.

Each free session will take place at a different local venue from breweries and restaurants to event spaces showcasing the diversity and talent that make Fredericksburg unique.

The Business Pour is designed to feel informal and approachable. Attendees can unwind, enjoy social time, and engage in meaningful discussions led by local experts. Sessions will highlight a featured venue, product, or service while encouraging cross-industry connections and forward-thinking conversations.

Get ready for a dynamic lineup of 2026 topics that will bring fresh perspectives, meaningful discussions, and practical insights to every Business Pour gathering:

  • Fueling Your Business:  Lending, Capital & Readiness
  • Business of Balance: Real conversations on maintaining balance and well-being as a professional.
  • Workforce Talent: Strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining strong talent in Fredericksburg.
  • Beyond Today: Future-focused conversations on innovation, growth, and the evolving FXBG business landscape.

At its heart, The Business Pour celebrates everything that makes Fredericksburg a great place to live, work, and do business. These free meetups remind us why the FXBG business community is so special and how coming together helps us grow stronger, more innovative, and more connected.

The Business Pour will take place four times a year, from 4:30–6:30 PM, offering the perfect blend of networking, learning, and community-building all in the spirit of celebrating Fredericksburg.
