Admission to Other Universities
Through system-wide agreements, students who graduate from one of Virginia's 23 community colleges with an associate's degree and a minimum grade point average may obtain guaranteed admission to more than 20 of the commonwealth's colleges and universities. The grade point average that's required varies depending on the institution to which the student is transferring. Getting an associate's degree at Germanna before going to a university or four-year college can save tens of thousands of dollars and students are well prepared for academic challenges.

Arts & Sciences
The Arts and Sciences degree program is designed primarily for students who plan to transfer their coursework to a four year institution. Students may also plan to directly enter the workforce.
