Athletics at UMW

UMW Eagles go the distance. UMW Athletics are NCAA Division III and conference champs. They’ve dominated the conference and been nationally ranked in every sport. Every UMW Athletics varsity team has advanced to national championship tournament competitions. Students have been named All-Americans, All-Stars, and Scholar-Athletes, and they reach that level because of the deep support from their coaches.

Service runs deep with Mary Wash athletes. Count on them to be there for the things that matter. You’ll often find them volunteering with Special Olympics, running community basketball clinics, and flexing their muscles out in the community garden.
