Amy Peregoy serves as the Economic Development Manager for the City of Fredericksburg. In this role, she is dedicated to building strong relationships with business and property owners, supporting business retention and expansion efforts, and celebrating the milestones that mark local business success. Amy administers the Economic Development Authority (EDA) grant program and the InvestFXBG loan program, and she organizes business educational and networking programs to foster a thriving local business community. She also assists business prospects, supports the EDA as Assistant Secretary, and manages the City’s Economic Development website to promote Fredericksburg as a dynamic place to do business. Amy joined the department in May 2011 and brings over 25 years of experience in business and commercial development. She is a graduate of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fredericksburg program. Amy studied Business Administration at Germanna Community College and continues to expand her professional knowledge through certified programs and industry seminars.
