The Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic provides primary healthcare services to those unable to pay for private medical care. Opened in 1993 by the Fredericksburg Area Regional Health Council and located in the Carl D. Silver Building on the campus of Mary Washington Hospital, the clinic provides a variety of medical and dental services for uninsured residents of the region.
All services are by appointment and include:
Chronic Care Clinic
Orthopedic and Surgical Clinics
Primary Care Clinic
Donation of Time
The Moss Free Clinic could not operate without the variety of services provided through Mary Washington Healthcare and Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. Both inpatient and outpatient services are provided to clinic patients by the hospitals and other community partners. Annually, more than 100 physicians donate over $200,000 in services in their own offices to the clinic’s patients.
