The processing of an application may take between 90 to 160 days. Approximate timeline for each processing step: 1. Supporting documentation may take 7 - 14 days to be delivered to SBA by the applicant after SBA sends the request. 2. Once the documents are received it may take 20 - 40 days to assign for processing. 3. After assignment, this step may take between 30 - 60 days to be completed before it goes for a 2nd level review. 4. 2nd level review may take an additional 30 - 60 days. 5. The final step to issue the final determination, may take 10 - 20 days. The Application Guide is a valuable tool for businesses wanting to know what the online application will require.
